Can be planted in-ground in the South Florida garden but be sure to mix in with other plants as they may be semi-dormant in the summer, although some cultivars can better withstand the heat, humidity and heavy rainfall of our summers. Feed with a slow-release 14-14-14 granular fertilizer every three months. Pluck off any wilted foliage to maintain an attractive appearance.
