Use as a potted plant indoors or outdoors. Will need very bright light and some humidity indoors. The bird-like flower blooms mostly in summer to fall when the plant has matured after some years. Let soil dry out by half between watering if indoors. Do not mist leaves. Indoors, use a systemic insecticide every 8 weeks to prevent aphids and mealybugs or treat topically with an organic insecticide.
