Cold weather plant of choice for our short winters in South Florida. Native to Europe and North Africa but now naturalized throughout North America. Most cultivars are now hybrids.

Best in mixed container gardens but can also be planted en masse in-ground. Feed with a slow-release 14-14-14 granular fertilizer when planting to ensure continual feeding during growing season.
