Best as a potted plant but can also be in the landscape as long it's a shady, protected spot away from high winds and temperatures below mid-40F. Feed with a slow-release 14-14-14 granular fertilizer every three months. Prune back in March to encourage robust growth in spring and summer. Can be indoors but needs very bright light and humidity.
