Best as a background accent or specimen in a sunny garden. Feed with a slow-release 14-14-14 granular fertilizer every three months starting in early March just before emerging from winter dormancy. Hard-prune in early March to encourage new growth and blooms. Protect from cold winter winds and extended periods of temperatures below 45F.
