Best in a container garden by itself or mixed with other seasonal flowers and greenery.
Can be planted in-ground as long as soil is enriched with good quality potting mix and compost.
Feed with a slow-release 14-14-14 granular fertilizer every three months fall to spring.
Apply a systemic fungicide and insecticide in early summer and every 8 weeks afterward to prevent fungus and aphid infestations. Will not bloom much in summer.
May defoliate in winter if temperatures drop below 45F for an extended period.
