Best as an understory accent under a shade tree with a large canopy or in a courtyard garden. Protect from strong winds, especially cold winter winds. Feed with a slow release palm-specific granular fertilizer every three months, supplemented with an extra feeding of magnesium sulfate in spring and fall.
