Use as a background accent in a wildlife garden of Milkweed, Bahama Coffee, Coontie, Porterweed and Saw Palmetto. Little fertilizing needed. Tolerates drought once established. May defoliate when temperatures drop below 45F. Prune hard occasionally to stimulate new growth, especially in early spring.
