A lemon-lime variegation of the Japanese Aralia that's native to southern Japan. The genus name is from 'fatsi' which is old Japanese for 'eight' (now 'hachi'), referring to the eight lobes of each leaf.

Watch this outstanding cultivar mature into an elegant and lush plant, either singly in a container or mixed with other tropicals such as Cordylines, Anthuriums, Gingers and Bromeliads. Feed with a slow-release 14-14-14 granular fertilizer every three months. Trim off any wilted foliage to maintain an attractive appearance. Repot with fresh soil and trim back after some time to rejuvenate.
