Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system; reduce frequency once established. Feed with a slow-release 14-14-14 granular fertilizer every three months. Shear regularly and lightly to keep in shape. For healthy growth, use a systemic or topical fungicide every 4-6 weeks at the start of rainy season until end of fall.
