Best planted in clusters as a background to lower plants for optimal visual effect. Only Auntie Lou and Black Magic can be planted in full sun. All others need filtered sunlight or shade to prevent foliage burn. Feed with a slow-release 14-14-14 granular fertilizer every three months. Trim off any wilted foliage to maintain an attractive appearance. Can be hard-pruned in early spring to stimulate new growth.
